Peaceful Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin season is here, so I wanted to share with you my healthy version of the pumpkin spice latte (minus the 50+ grams of sugar in the coffee shop versions!) I love making this latte before bed because it contains chamomile, passionflower and almond milk (which is high in tryptophan, melatonin and magnesium), all ingredients that promote sleep and relaxation.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Yogi Pumpkin Spice tea bag

  • 1/3 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • sprinkle of pumpkin spice

Directions:

  • Boil water and pour in mug.

  • Add tea bag and let steep for 10 minutes.

  • Heat almond milk and pour 1/2 in the mug with the tea.

  • Use a frother to froth the remaining 1/2 cup of almond milk and pour into mug.

  • Sprinkle with a dash of pumpkin spice on top.
