As you probably know, cooking a whole turkey is a large undertaking (not to mention extremely time-consuming). Now you can have delicious herb-crusted turkey that is tender in the middle and crispy on the outside in only 30 minutes using the air fryer!

Turkey tenderloins are a great meal prep choice because they are high in lean protein, B vitamins, selenium and zinc. This makes them a wonderfully nutritious food especially for patients with hypothyroidism. I paired this recipe with green beans because we all know how well turkey and green beans go together!

Ingredients

  • 3 turkey tenderloins (organic or Publix Greenwise)

  • Avocado oil spray

  • Ground sage

  • Dried rosemary

  • Dried basil

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Himalayan salt

  • Black pepper

Directions

Preheat the airfryer to 360 degrees for 5 minutes. Lightly spray the turkey tenderloins with avocado oil spray and sprinkle on the sage, rosemary, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Press the spices gently and flip over the tenderloins, repeating the seasoning on the other side. Lightly spray the air fryer tray with avocado oil and add the tenderloins. Air fry for 12 minutes, flip the turkey over and cook another 10 minutes. Cut into slices and enjoy with your favorite vegetable side dish or top your salad.
